Encounter-a-Day

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know that I’m planning on upgrading my WordPress install sometime in the next couple of days (maybe even tonight, depending on how productive I feel and how well the backup goes).

This means that I need to back everything up… which, in a shocking turn of events, I’m actually fairly comfortable with. Backing up files is simple enough, and I’ve already backed up (and restored!) the database on a couple occasions so that I could play with a local copy of the site.

So basically, don’t be surprised if the site’s not responding some time in the near future. It should go pretty well, Murphy’s Law not withstanding.
