Random Encounters: Fourteen

I’ve just released version 2.0 of my Monster Maker. There’s been some bug fixes and changes made (I’d missed, for example, the option to give monsters regeneration), as well as a brand new UI that should be a bit more organized and easier to work with.

Now, regarding Dynamic Domains. This is something that’s getting back to my original intent in this blog: not just making encounters, but making fun and interesting encounters. And as is my MO, when I say I’m getting back to the original intent of my blog, I’m still not making honest-to-goodness encounters!
No, Dynamic Domains posts are basically things you can add to a combat encounter to make it a bit more interesting and, well, dynamic. It’s going to have passive elements and active elements. Active elements are things like walls to be toppled, hives to be stirred up, etc. Passive elements are things which are just sort of there and aren’t directly interacted with. Slippery ice, rivers of lava, and sheer cliffs would be examples of passive elements.

Love the program but the screenshots are a little misleading. based on the screenshots i assumed it built the monster how it looks in the monster manual, its fine that it doesn’t this was just my perception of the program.
It does build them the way they look in the monster manual. Did you read the readme file and follow all the instructions therein?
