Great idea, so great I used it in one of my adventures. A strange monastery, seemingly abandoned until the monks return with their latest harvest of books. The look on the players faces as they throw most of the books over the cliff was priceless. I also had the bridge "disappear" at one point and the party seeing a dragon in the distance and then having the bridge be back again. It make for a very interesting time as the players tried to work out if it was a trap or not (they had already used the bridge twice by this point without incident). A nice non combat encounter that made the world seem both more real and more enchanted. My thanks to the author!

You can always change the name of the monesters and use the stats or just alter them a little but use there basics if they come up weird.

Sadly, the company has a stated policy that D&D and Magic will not mix ever. I suspect it's mostly an issue of them worrying about diluting the Magic brand, since that's WotC's cash cow.

The crazy part is how much the setting mentions parties of adventurers risking their lives and delving into ancient ruins and etc.; I half expected them to come out with a DnD campaign setting for it.

We also started using Turn Watcher, but for me it had 2 major drawbacks: it doesn't work well with 4e, and it does not run on the Mac (my preferred platform).

4eTurnTracker (http://4eturntracker.com) is not as powerful as D&D 4e Combat Tracker yet, but it tracks the most important stuff like: Initiative, HP and Temp HP, Healing Surges, Action Points and ongoing effects. What it does, it does well.

And most important, besides the fact that it runs on the Mac (and Windows of course), is that the interface is quick and easy to use. Oh, and not to forget, it's free... Highly recommended! :)
