Encounter-a-Day

What is an encounter? That’s a tough question to answer, and not one I’m really up to. I could give you my definition, but I’m sure many would disagree with me on the finer points and some would disagree with me on the whole concept altogether.

That said, encounters are not actually what I’m posting on here. Not exclusively, at least. That was the idea at first, but I quickly realized that I had a lot of ideas that just don’t fit into an encounter format well. So really, for the purposes of this blog, encounters are any story objects or events which I think would be fun to include in an RPG and which might be stolen wholesale for use in most games, and can be tailored to fit into the rest.
